Artist Spotlight - Farsight
Farsight is an up and coming metalcore band based out of Long Island, New York. They are known for their brutal breakdowns and large soundscapes from their records, and even translates well live. Both guitarists, Devon Dijan and Matt “Fish” Fischetti, and bassist, Dylan Dijan have always used multi-effects processors. In need of a power amp solution, they turned to Quilter for their huge power handling, size, durability and tube-like warmth.
Devon Dijan , guitarist of Farsight, has for a long time been a tube traditionalist, but now using digital modelers, he had to find a power amp to deliver that same sound through a speaker cabinet. “There’s only one solution when it comes to a solid state amp that can deliver tube sound quality and air push; and that’s Quilter.”
Matt ‘Fish’ Fischetti , guitarist, producer and mixing engineer of Farsight, believes a great sonic experience is half of the show. “Quilter allows our profiler amps to reach its full potential, creating a full and immersive stage tone, and it makes the digital aspect of the rig not distracting. It trumps the competitors in realism, sonic quality.”
Dylan Dijan is the bass player of Farsight. Playing bass for most of his life, he’s taken in his influences to create a style and sound for himself that makes him both stand out in the mix and hold it down when he needs to. “People always ask me how I get the sound I have at venues. No matter what I’m using in front of it, Quilter is always the answer.”
